When I first came to State College, a friend recommended this shop and told me they were very good at working on German cars. I have a 14-year-old Audi that has been with me since high school. Over the past year, I’ve had all kinds of issues—engine warning lights coming on multiple times, the air conditioning completely failing, replacing both axles, a dead battery, oil changes, and more. They’ve handled and fixed all of it for me. I’ve seen some comments online complaining about their attitude, but that has not been my experience at all. Since the first time I worked with John and Rita until now, they have never given me any attitude. They may seem a little reserved at first, but once you get to know them they are actually very easy to talk to and work with. There was even a time when the Audi dealership gave me an estimate of over $1,000 for a repair, and they were able to diagnose and fix the problem for under $300. That really showed me they are honest and not trying to upsell unnecessary work. John clearly knows his business and is very knowledgeable. He doesn’t try to upsell unnecessary services or parts, which I really appreciate. He took great care of my 15-year-old BMW and was honest and transparent throughout the process. While he may not have the most outgoing or welcoming personality, the quality of his work and his integrity matter far more to me. Overall, I’ve been very happy with the service he’s provided.

The man and woman that own this business are in need of retirement. Bring your car here and be ready to be treated like your nobody and don’t know what you’re talking about. John thinks he knows it all and his lady acts the same way. He doesn’t receive my business anymore and he knows why. If there was a way to give him a lower rating I would. Feel bad for all of his future victims.

Finding a good mechanic when you're hundreds of miles away is difficult, but the service we received from Gemini Enterprises TAMR, Inc. was exceptional. We live in Minnesota and were worried about our daughter's car while she's at Penn State. The communication was outstanding; they explained everything clearly and made us feel like we were right there in the shop. They fixed her car promptly and honestly. I now have complete confidence that she's in good hands for any future car needs.

I’m honestly not sure if the older gentleman here was being rude to me personally or if this is just how the shop treats customers in general, but my experience was really disappointing. I came here because I heard they were good at servicing German cars, and since my English isn’t fluent, I tried my best to explain what I needed both on the phone and in person. However, when I got there, I barely had a chance to ask a few questions before he told me, “If you don’t believe me, just check online — there are videos about service and prices.” I explained several times that my English isn’t great and I just wanted to make sure I understood everything clearly, but he seemed impatient and said things like “time is money,” basically trying to get me to leave. If I can’t even explain what the problem is or understand how they plan to fix it, how can I possibly trust them with my car? Am I supposed to just hand it over and hope they don’t mess it up? That’s not how a professional mechanic should treat a customer.
